BALLYCASTLE BEACH

Overlooked by picturesque Fair Head, Ballycastle Beach extends for 1.6km from the marina to Pans Rocks, popular with fishing enthusiasts. The town side of the beach features a seafront promenade, at the end is a stone bridge for crossing the River Margy onto the more rural end of the beach. Views from the beach toward the town hosting a good range of shops, amenities and eateries, with Rathlin Island just off the coast are stunning. This is a popular beach for walking, swimming and sandcastle building. A large grass area at the seafront offers good picnic facilities and car parking is offered within the town area along the seafront.
